cellular trail camera questions

Good afternoon all, I'm looking at investing in my 1st cellular trail camera.

I have several of the standard non cellular type but looking for something I can put up and get the phots remotely.

My questions are what units are you finding the best?

Are any of them capable of a live feed at all? That function would be handy for me to check if worth going to the spot that morning/evening or not etc.

I use Hik, the trick is for me is to get them up high (I take a long ladder ) but first set them up at waist hight just to see if it is pining pictures then I set it in place. I have 2 of the self tapping crank type brackets so wind that in then set the unit up. The other I wedge a short stick in at the back to get the angle for the area I want.

If I was buying a new cellular trail camera I would buy a zeiss Secacam 3, you can pick them up for under £100 with free delivery if you look about.

I own several Spypoint and recently bought my first zeiss Secacam and I’m really enjoying it.

The spypoint flex 36 is similar photo quality but it’s about £150 so quite a bit more expensive.

One positive with spypoint is you get 100 free photos on the free subscription, you don’t get this option with zeiss

Don,t know if you have uovision over there, very reliable, 100 free pictures a month then the first becomes the second etc, but all are still on the memory card, put a pay as you go SIM card, with $10 on it lasts forever.

It appears that the Secacam 1 they have just marketed is similar to the 3 without the viewing screen and is a touch cheaper.

The 3 doesn't have a viewing screen either. The 5 and 7 do
Sorry, I have 4 3 s and they have swing forward doors with a screen so you can see what the lens sees when you set them up.Never used them like that but that's what I was told.

Yes, thats correct but I dont think you can view pictures. Although to be honest I've never tried so stand to be corrected.
