Brought trap home into garden & my eldest keeping eye on them. Never see magpies here; got one of the pair and other 'dancing' around trap apparently!

Saw 2 pairs of grey partridge this morning on same field , hope they get coveys away.Just had an add up
Mainly caught crows - 65
Magpie 20
1 jackdaw
Foxes shot 22
Squirrels shot 41
rats shot 189
1 jay
Effort this year greater and numbers are down which shows it must be working
Also seen my first brood of pheasants and now must have well over 100 ducklings
What is it with these idiots ..... should keep the heck out of the countryside if that is how they are going to behave....Some prick has let one of my call birds out today
They just break the trap open if you lock them.
it is also particularly helpful if Brock is the other side of the sheet.
