Well my scales have went funked and will no long weigh accurately so its time for a new set .
So whats out there and were from what price.????????

+1 with monkey spanker i have had mine a long time now just calibrated it against a 25kg weight and good to go never had to adjust since, atb wayne
 
Just out of interest, if you are selling venison (or anything else legally sold by weight), do your scales have to have a check weight calibration certificate that can be inspected by Trading Standards if required? When I was looking at a set of Avery scales for business use, they seemed to be divided into certificated and non-certificated, with the latter being a lot more expensive.
 
It dont really mater to me as long as they do a good job . When writing out cull records its nice to get them close to what they really weigh.

Probably not but its nice to know buy exactly how much the Game Dealer sees fit to sh__t one!
 
Just had to do this 6P the antique scales I found at a farm a few weeks ago nearly as :old:as us

I had a set of those silverline scales, dropped them on the floor and they were f*cked, completely useless after that.
 
roedeered them scales are great lol the sad thing is a remeber a set up at a farm and i am sure they were brand new :oops:
