To a potential aggressor that would indicate that the facilities of Faslane would be available to NATO and thus remain a target. Mr Salmond has claimed claim that Scotland would not need to apply from scratch and would instead get a fast-track entry in the 18 months between a Yes vote and actual separation in March 2016.
But Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo, the Spanish Foreign Minister, and the Belgian and French governments said they have held no discussions with Mr Salmond or his administration. The Italian government could provide no evidence of talks.

I would urge that everyone that is entitled to vote does so, and that they think long and hard about their choice. This decision is not to be taken lightly, it is not part of a script in some Hollywood creation, the outcome will affect millions of people not just here in Scotland but over a good part of the world.

Once the decision has been arrived at can we please try and get on with the business of being a stalking site without any acrimonious ranting's, because take this as fair warning any such posts will be removed and if the offenders are persistent they will be removed.
