100m or more ranges in South West UK

Hi All,

Are there any ranges that offer 100m or more for centrefire rifles in the south west? I tried looking via the NRA site but it keeps crashing for me. Predominantly a vermin shooter, but would love to do some range work for training/practice and picking a load for the rifle.

Call me picky, its actually a 100yd range as its a US manufacturer (Meggit if memory serves me right) - its only 91.5m!

Dorchester rifle and pistol club use a range at piddlehinton the next meet is 26 th sadly too late for me as I need to zero my rifle before then !

Bunkys in bodmin. He has a range out to a mile. Awesome place to shoot and a really friendly guy. East Devon sporting I believe it's called.

We've got a 100 yard zeroing range at my mate's place in mid/north Devon, but it's only for occasional use so probably not ideal for your purposes!

Tamar shoot at a 100m range near Parracombe. The only problem with Parracombe is the weirdly high cross winds plus the shooting benches are all ****ed and wobble about and it's impossible to get a decent zero. That's my excuse anyway

Tamar is a good club, give 'em a call or email.

I’m not sure what they charge non members - you could call them and if it is reasonable and you want to spend a couple of hours up there drop me a PM. I will be there for a couple of hours in the next week or two sometime.

Thanks Woodsy, im hearing lots of good things about Bunky's! I work not too far from Moretonhampstead, so Budleigh could be very useful, thank you.

Had a call from my FLO this week and he said pending the post, it should be around 28 days until my cert' arrives

Only problem that I may have is the waiting list for new Tikka's in the UK. The Gun Room have been told 3 months by GMK

On the subject of FAC's, Does anyone know if I will need range use specifically listed on my cert' to attend either Bunky's or Budleigh Farm?
