I can’t say I ever really noticed much difference between them when I had both.

Using 120g non ledI find 6.5CM a bit hard on Roe.
What bullets are you using?
Even 100gr Barnes TTSX I find hard on them
I use the 223 for Roe and the CM on the Reds.
Same could be said for any other deer legal calibre too thoughJust get a 6.5 and use a bullet suitable for the job in hand! Sorted![]()
agreed! I just think 6.5 is a great all rounder for the uk! From fox to stags its not marginal either way with the selection of bullets available.Same could be said for any other deer legal calibre too though
