243 non lead bullets

Will have see how it goes. Barnes say that the TTSX needs to be seated at least 50 thou off the lands and then working back from there. Having checked the distance to the lands and the ogive depth on the ammo I tested, they were almost touching the lands.
Try seating them at Barnes recommended length. It has worked very well for me in 270's.

A quick look at the number of 243's for sale on Gun Trader (with a last Century twist rate) will tell you all you need to know about their ability to shoot all-copper ammo.

That doesnt stack up
We still sell more .243s than any other cartridge, new and used

what does explain the volume is the Firearms Licencing pushing people to .243 as the bare minimum cartridge for large deer species and it being the "universal" round for foxing, small and large deer.

The 1:10" twist will handle any 80gr Non Lead projectile, we sell a large volume of Hornady CX, Sako Blade, Fox Classic Hunter among others

The pointier and longer they are the more fussy they will be in any rifle not just .243

We have two 100gr options that shoot n a 1:10" standard 1:10" twist

We developed the Peregrine 100gr VRG3 in a Tikka 1:10" 20" barrel

Good news and happy to stand corrected. Hopefully I'll find something (factory) that will suit my M66 in 243.

I have worked up a load with 80grn TTSX in my 6x47 using N550, about 3225ft/sec but needed seating 70 thou to tighten the groups, my .30-06 and 165grn CX needs to be seated to 90 thou before it will shoot well.
