3 Calibres

.22lr, .308win, .375h&h think that just about covers everything.

Almost the same
.22Lr
.308win
9.3x74R

Had to substitute the 9.3x74r because that's what I have but would be prepared to go along with .375 H&H flanged because a break action is obligatory.

.22LR small stuff and targets.
6.5x55 deer, foxes crows and targets ( there's no value on the skin so foxes can't be too dead )
.375 HH, for the dream hunts.

ohh ohhh i got 4 :(
22LR bunny
223 fox and vermin
243 roe and the occasional fox
30.06 red, boar, South Africa

please don't make me give up one to fit into the 3 caliber club :)

.22lr, .243 Win .300 win mag for the UK and .22lr, .243 win and .375 H&H for anywhere worldwide.

assuming no target shooting / extensive practising with centre fire I'd say .17HMR .243 6.5x55

17HMR cheap, saves the meat so long as head shot and not always to bad when you hit the bunnies in the engine room
.243 soooo flat with 58gr v-max for night shooting and will do the business on deer, changing bullet choice & load means meat damage can be mitigated to some extent
6.5x55 barrel will last forever, will take heavier bullets that the .243 which i prefer when shooting larger deer in the engine room

I was torn whether to have 6.5x55 or 7mmRM for the last choice but if i can only have 3 then the barrel life just pips it, or does it?

6.5x55; .30-06 and .375H&H; I've got the first two, just need to add the third when I've saved enough for a Cape Buffalo..... which might take a while!

CZ 22
Tikka 6.5x55 695
Shultz X Larsen 30-06
These should cover everything from rabbits to wild boar and plains game.
