Ended up with a deal on an ex display X bolt 2 with adjustable synthetic stock, short barrel, stalon mod and a Kite scope for &1k.
Scope ok but no way near the S&B on my .243.
Took a few rounds to get it zero’d and grouping nicely. Currently on Sako blades 150g but considering options as they are pee take expensive.
Have taken 8 deer with it so far, roe and munty’s (bit ott) considering I got it for bigger species (nearly 1 Aug)
As for the overall feel of the rifle and round I do really like shooting it. Recoil is more a push than a whack and it certainly knocks them down.

Nice one, yeah they are just a bit but not compared to 6.5 prc lead free factory
,I think s&b do a lead free excergy blue 150 &165gr offering, Winchester copper impact 308 150s will be cheaper also than Sako blade or Federal 150gr copper so plenty of options.
