4x4 pickup tyres (18" options)

On my second set of Toyo Open Country III, really rate them!

Go in some sketchy places foxing on Welsh hill farms and they preform admirably. Also run up and down to Scotland monthly, they wear well with very little road noise.

Helped my Izuzu V - Cross they are on pull out a bottomed out Range Rover without any loss of traction! 😉

I just went for the Yokohama geolandar at4 go18.

Noisier than the coopers discoverer at3 I had, and fuel efficiency is worse, but the coopers disintegrated in less than a year. I blame this on not being US made (last set was made in Serbia) - before the last set I was super happy with the coopers.

Thanks folks - looking at what my local dealership can get and Geolander is coming out near the top so far. I like the fact they have the 3PMSF rating too. Can't seem to find the Falken around here but one chap I spoke to said they were waiting for the new version to be available - AT4 maybe?

Edit - although Blackcircles seem to say I can have the falkens fitted tomorrow so there must be somewhere local who has them!

@wytonpjs This looks to be the new Wildpeak AT4? Can't find them in the UK yet but seems to be available in the US for the last year or so. But no sign of the Wildpeak AT3s on the US site.

Interesting! Thanks

Disappointing to see that there's no 19" option for the AT4 unlike the AT3 which I ran/run on the FL2/DS. They do offer a 20" version (for which I have rims) but the lower sidewall height will no doubt gives a harsher ride.............

Put these on the ute a couple of days ago (4) The Kuhmos had donated themselves to my off road trailer wheels.
They do the job,a wet track tonight gave them a test and they did well even though they are not a full mud terrain pattern.
265/75/16 $390 a corner fitted/balanced.

Have a look at Maxxis Wormdrive. Had them on L200 a few years now. Good all round and quiete on motorway. I have AT2's on the Defender, when the time comes to change I'll be sticking with Maxxis.

Goodyear Duratracs for sure!

I did like AT2s but the Goodyear have the edge!

I had an old truck with Insa Turbo Rangers on, they were really good for the budget end of the market!

When shopping around check out Asda - think they offer fitting through local independant garages. Also Costco if you are a member or know someone who is.

Just put a set of these on mine couple months ago. Changed from mud tyres for the same reason . Use quad more now. Been good so far
