Anti Tick Trouser

Is there any tick trousers that are robust like work trousers, not waterproof or heavy duty like Harkila but just tough enough for everyday use?

I seen the Rovince ones at the stoking show and they were a bit flimsy (love my Rovince bamboo top) I bought some deerhunter anti tick trouser, they are very summer lightweight.

Before I buy anything else 🤦‍♂️ any help appreciated

Tbh I spray my trousers ( decathlon and Percussion) with Aldis bug spray in the green bottle.
Both trousers well made imho and touch wood the nasties haven't bothered me since .

As above, by whatever clothes you like and spray them with permethrin or use Bushwear no tick wash. I prefer the wash in stuff myself. I’ve found permethrin can lie sticky on some fabrics 🤷‍♂️

Just listened to a podcast with Dr Al Gabriel (Blood, sweat and deers) and looked them up, evidently Rovince do some lightweight ones - Savannah but the Ergoline are thicker.

Al said the beauty in them is the Permethrin is mixed with a polymer and last 70-80 washes, he also said German Military clothing is treated the same so maybe some surplus gear form there?

Honestly, just treat your favourite trousers with Permithrin spray. I use Rohan Bags for summer use (they dry in literally minutes after a soak). Sawyers comes in a big yellow spray tin. If you can get it in the UK, buy a load of it.
