I think it would be of more value for those on the week to comment, or was it a staff jolly 6.5? , maybe Arran has gone a bit like Area 51?NO SHOT FROM ME WELL NOT MY RIFLE whats that all aboutand whats that all about spill the beans if you have something to tell about ARRAN

I am interested in the new arrangements as I am going to Arran the last hind week. My experience last year was that Bob and Griff were great, but not by any means out guiding us to animals, that was left to us. Maybe the poor take on the first hind week was down to some of the serious weather blowing in? But that is what I love about the Arran set-up, you get to experience some real terrain, serious weather and all using your judgment and hunt deer.
+1 Western woodsman Bob and Griff are top blokes with a world of knolage. They will do there best to tell you where best to look but they wont guide you onto them I'm not quite sure why finnbear has insinuated they do I think he has a lot on his chest. On Arran you make your own luck no one makes you get out there. Lets hope the weather is good for us woodsman on the last week.
Crouch, I think you have the wrong end of the stick, I can't read anywhere in my posts, Me having Griff or Bob putting anyone on beasts, Just find it pretty odd that no one on the week has made any comment about it.

IM assuming you know there were other SD members on Arran with you? Maybe theres nothing to report and to be honest, even if there was, some people (including me) think twice about doing a write up and getting told where i went wrong and why it wasnt upto best practise standards..

I'd be delighted to. I have been posting on here for a while and so far no one else from SD has indicated that they are going. So we either have the island to ourselves or there a bunch of stalkers who aren't here OR, they're keeping schtuum about it.
We have broadband in the cottage and I shall be taking my eyepad with me. So you'll get a blow by blow account! As long as there is something to tell you. Might not see an ar5e.
Got new cammo coming for Crimbo. New FAC arrived. Everything booked. Rifles zeroed. All gadgets packed into a shipping container being airlifted by Chinook. Can't have too many gadgets.
Just need to get Christmas out of the way.
