BASC expels members for wildlife crime and firearms offences

Are you referring to a different case?
You seem to be having a bit of a rant when this thread is about 2 members who plead guilty to “wildlife crime” and were subsequently expelled.
One member plead guilty to wildlife crimes the other had those charges dropped due to insufficient evidence and plead guilty to firearms and chemical storage charges.

Very much support the BASC’s position on this. There is no excuse these days for poisoning, trapping or otherwise deliberately killing protected animals and birds.

And if the individuals in question were employees and acting on their employers instruction, then I trust their employers have had grants etc removed.
