Free: Be careful

Just wanted to say be careful of scams. A friend of mine sent an advert of a swarovski z6i that I'm after on a page called ScopeBay uk on Facebook. I'm not on Facebook but my partner is. Had a look and tried to buy. Sure enough wouldn't pick up call and profile didn't match. Looked at the pictures closer and one of them was a pic of what someone had sold on here back in August 23. No wonder I hate Facebook. Just lucky we have SD which I have never had a problem with.

Yip totally agree Facebook Marketplace is a minefield of rogues, charlatans and fakers !!! …. I’ve been scammed a good few times and the worst bit is Facebook couldn’t care less and you’re left high and dry …. In fact I’m amazed the legal channels allow it to exist !!!

Honestly came very close to loosing money. Felt sick after even just the thought of it.
