It is my sad duty to inform you that Dave Thorniley, aka bluesako, passed away earlier this week.
I got to know him after we discussed rifle related stuff on this forum and he proved a true friend. He's going to be sorely missed.

shot with him at altcar many years ago.

He told me you'd exchanged messages a couple of weeks ago. He'd have wanted you to know that Ghyll was allowed into the hospital to say goodbye to her master.

Thanks. It means alot. Was 4th july we were last in contact. A lovely guy, I wasn't aware that he was ill, so quite a shock.
