I think I understand the Britons, Angels, Saxons, Norse(Vikings) and Normans, Could/would someone explain the Celtic or Gaelic people as pertains to the Welch, Irish and Scots? thanks captdavid

Little stroppy, awkward barstewards, a lot of them of French origin, scattered and sorted by the original Italians.. Say's it all I think when you look at the "Fish people" :coat:

People have been living on the British Isles for a million years. So start at the middle stone age and work forward. It's perfectly simple.

About 2% Neanderthal DNA, with the remainder being African and Russian. All "modern" Europeans (ie, from about 15,000 years ago) are pretty much the same in that respect.

What's to explain?
Our inherent superiority in the varied fields of sporting achievements, intelligence, charm, wit, good looks, ability to produce (and consume in vast quantities ) world class alcoholic beverages and sexual performance are globally acknowledged.
We're also extremely modest, hung like rhinos and able to reproduce like rabbits in any environment dominated by the Catholic Church.
We live on a small undistinguished Atlantic rock, mostly renowned because it has no discernible climate, just loads of weather, it is currently inhabited by approx 8 million souls, yet once a year every year on or about the 17 March, 7 billion people claim kinship, dress in green, drink too much and vomit /urinate in public places to be just like we do.
We defy explanation, that's why the "Irish Question" has baffled 800 years of British politics.
That's just the Irish side mind, the Scots, and the Welsh will be along shortly

Eire Abu!

There are a couple of tribes of people that live in Caithness, they claim they are picts by origin. I description is worthwhile.
They are short stocky people, about 5 feet 5 tall. Black hair, dark skin, one in a hundred has the most vivid sky blue eyes, head size and shape is a very good indicator, picture a 3 gallon pale with eyes and mouth..
Males and female and Immature are indistinguishable apart from size, but even that can throw one. Very soft spoken, but also communicate with various gruntal tones.
I have seen similar but not the same in other parts, the bogghoppers of the Irish slobs are similar, The Southport banks, dwellers[original] are similar and finaly the north Norfolk flat foot are similar, but non match the Caithness pict in there looks and incredible behaviour. therefore I conclude that they are the purist form.. Hope that helps with you research.
PS somewhere I have a great photo of the picts lounging about semi naked in the cliff side cave homes.
