And how do I find them? I am always for saving money, but I need to know where to go and who to ask. So far I see them as the nearest and convenient club in my area that allows me shooting deer using an estate gun

Try some of the stalkers on this site think they may have a rifle to use just ask them before you book a stalk.
As Sh1kar says, put a wanted add in the classified section and no doubt someone will assist. Depending where you are, it might be worth asking @sikamalc and dealing with a bit of a journey. He won't have your pants down.

I am all for free market capitalism, supply and demand but having actually seen the prices this does seem more akin to extortion. Taking advantage of people with limited connections, knowledge and experience. If you are paying a premium for guided stalks as it is, what is the £1500 a year for? Merely the privilege of access to the guide/land? £186 for an outing is way above average in my experience and I have never paid any extra to use an estate rifle, let alone £30 which is pretty significant. Assuming around £60 at least for the carcass and costs really are stacking up, amounting to a considerable sum annually. I genuinely think you can save a significant amount while still accessing high quality guided stalking with just a little bit of endeavour. Here being a great start but also groups on Facebook and networking via organisations such as BASC and the BDS. I have enjoyed some of their videos but personally would be very apprehensive to partake in one of their premium member only excursions given the target demographic of their business model. This trepidation could be entirely unfounded however. It seems evident to me that the CC pricing is contrived to attract a certain clientele that are seeking exclusivity, a club that is more focused on an elitist social experience than that of reverence for the sport. Not everyone’s cup of Earl Grey. Different strokes I guess. Good luck though either way.

Just Google Wiltshire/Berkshire/Oxfordshire (other counties near you) Deer Stalking. Loads of results come up. There’s lots around your way, and particularly in the midlands advertised on here in the classified section.
This club seems like it works if you’re London based and cash rich/time poor. Fair enough, they’re supplying to a demand. But there’s really no shortage of individual paid stalking advertised around you, which I think would work out cheaper and you’d meet lots of different people in the process.

Has no-one told them it's illegal to charge for the use of estate rifle you can charge for ammunition used you can add the cost of your rifle into your pricing as.many.of us do but then it needs to be passed on to all.your clients whether they use the rifle or not a couple of quid added on to outing fees will over time will cover use and abuse of your rifle trust me some clients will severely abuse it have had a client using the rifle as a walking stick one throwing it down the hillside in disgust after a miss and one rubbing the stock back and forth on the top of a drystone wall to get a better rest.

The estate rifle clause allows a non-FAC holder to borrow a rifle.
This is why we don’t charge for use of the rifle, but do reserve the right to charge for the ammunition used (say, for example, they want some time zeroing and putting more rounds down the rifle before the outing).
That way a client is borrowing the rifle and reimbursing for the ammunition used, rather than hiring a rifle and ammunition.

This is exactly how I did to try deer stalking. About 3 came out, nobody replied except these guys… Happy to pay less
. Provided gun and guide be also with me for the next 2 years. And wouldn’t mind going out for any other game as long as I can eat it afterI might be confusing here. Please don’t fry me on legalities - don’t know, but would think they are doing everything legally and I confused something
I think one thing to consider is that no one is being forced to pay these sums. Yes they are ludicrously expensive...so is a rolls Royce no one is forced to buy that either.
I've seen plenty of guides where prices go up into the thousands for what others only charge hundreds, it is what it is. Some syndicates charge an arm and leg and you might only get to take a couple of carcasses a year. If someone is willing to pay it then fair play to them for charging it.
