I have made the same mistake more than once . As soon as you start to ASSUME something has happened your mind takes over and it becomes fact . You must Check and Check again !

Just be thankful it was only a roe to extract and not a big red!! Good honest write up. We have all made errors at some time or another but the main thing is your shot was good
