General thing to bear on mind if you are getting a kipplauf is the shorter barrel lengths don’t allow all the power to be burnt off for some calibres. I don’t know if this is a problem. Sure someone will add to my ‘half-comment’
Have been trying to look into this I think the barrels are 23.5” so trying to play with QL. It does seem an issue with some of the data that quotes 24-26” barrels particularly the Vit data.General thing to bear on mind if you are getting a kipplauf is the shorter barrel lengths don’t allow all the power to be burnt off for some calibres. Non stutzen rifles come with barrels up to 600mm (I think) so factory wouldn't be an issue.
What ‘shorter’ barrel lengths?
The action on any break barrel will permit a longer barrel within an overall rifle length due to the design.
There must be a way of getting a moderator on that.
Lovely view from your highseat.

What calibre?Ohh go on then.
Oooh that looks lovely.
Non-rimmed cartridges in break action rifles are ones to be avoided I reckon. I don't see the need when there are so many good chamberings that are rimmed.
5.6x60r
5.6x57r
6.5x57r
7x57r
7x65r (My personal pick of the bunch - think the best bits of .270W and .30-'06)
7.62x54r
8x57r
9.3x74r
.444 Marlin
.45-70 Gov't
There are probably more...
But for general deer, I'd go for one of the 2 in bold...

Our old friend the 303 British is flanged. Not rimmed but it would do.

A lot depends on what is available and whether or not you are in the fortunate position of being able to specify the build.
I have to say that I don’t feel disadvantaged with a ‘standard’ 7x57 in my Heym 44b, and if I’d waited until the ‘correct’ rimmed version turned up .....?
Well, let’s just say hell would have probably frozen over first.![]()
