Essex Shooting Range or Area for Zeroing

Hello all,

I am soon to go on my first stalk with BASC and really want to get my new rifle & scope set up. Can anyone help or point me to a 100 and 200 yard range anywhere near Essex. I do belong to a club who shoot at Fingeringhoe but I can never manage to get a slot booked as they basically want 3-4 weeks notice and have been on days I can’t get off work. Any help greatly appreciated cheers.

Tbf, a good range, but I think their next range day is only in Sept.

that’s my club! Great bunch and it’s good for small bore etc but I just can’t manage to get on a range day.

I'm with the MRA and range time is hard to come by at the moment. Cambridge Gun Club have a range if you have a SSC Card and Jim Riley has a range Newmarket way if it helps.

My god thats one stick in the mud club more they have more Red tape than mi5 you can always join in on Grove day's ?

Thanks all, I have googled and found a few places but all a bit far just to zero my rifle. I was hoping someone had a bit of land set up to zero their own rifles locally to me. More than happy to give someone a drink. I will get a bit of range time on the day of my stalk bit would be nice to get it sorted prior to that.

If your stalking at Hockwold with BASC they have a 100m range their which they will generally ask you to shoot on first anyway in all honesty so as long as you can get their an hour or so before your stalking time you should have a good crack at zeroing

Hi. Is the offer still available. As can't find a range local to zero. Got a new scope and don't want to take old one off till I can zero new one. Thanks.
