fallow rut

Nice seventeen pointer and fifteen hinds spotted Sunday he was active, three big fallow bucks chasing each other around as well, stag is roaring at night but haven,t heard any bucks yet.

Smaller bucks grunting in the New Forest. The big boys haven't come out the woodwork yet.
Hi Boggy, Yes they have :D got one today 52kg clean. Nearly bust a gut getting it from 'you know where' to the chiller. All my clothes stink now.
Couldn't get the flash to work on the camera, so no piccies I'm afraid.
As it got dark the noise was tremendous.

A Picture taken today in daylight !!:-D

The rut is going well this weekend in Herefordshire, we had a good weekend with freinds from the Netherlands which I'm sure he will post an article at a later date.

x1 Wayne. Plenty of activity on my lease in Herefordshire last weekend. Heard a couple calling, one only a few hundred yards away as I was dragging this one out. Just returned from the game dealers, he went 46kg larder weight.
