99% of all the organisations are the same very eager to take your money but not very quick when they have to actually do something for it. They all wonder why they are losing members but dont seem to be able to comprehend the reasons why the members are disallusiioned with them. As I said in a previous post, if they did not give insurance cover with the membership then they would have very few members indeed. This is not aimed just at BASC but the vast majority of the organisations. Until they have a proper clear out and get some staff that have the balls to fight for their members we will keep losing ground and shooting will die the death of a thousand cuts.

Yes, but I had to register through BASC.

Not spoken to DMQ directly but it seems there has been a delay/backlog with printing DSC2 certs, understandable considering the circumstances.

You said in an earlier post that you don't belong to any of the organisations because they're all as bad as each other, and at the same time you say shooting is doomed. So what exactly is your contribution? All I see is negativity.

All I do is my own campaigning against things like the trophy ban and other campaigns against shooting. Taking as many newcomers shooting as possible. Helping wounded ex servicemen to stalk. None of that necessitates joining an organisation that does nothing to help shooting and a lot to harm it. What exactly do you do to further shooting apart from joining an association and giving them money to waste while they whittle away at your sport. You may see it as negativity, I see it as realism.

If we had organisations that were actually effective and not just run to keep the select few at the top in a cushy job then I would support them. What exactly is it that you do to help our cause? If you believe that the organisations are doing such a fantastic job for us i bet you believe all the emails you get from Nigerian princes as well.
I supported several organisations for many years until i saw how they were selling us down the river and left them all.

Must admit in the past I have been a defender/supporter and 35 year member of basc, no more.

I honestly do believe we'd be better off without them, they are absolutely shocking and beyond saving/contempt..
I'd get banned if I expressed my true feelings for basc now..
Which is a very sad day for them when it's losing lifelong supporters they really have got problems.

Plenty of evidence for years but I generally gave them the benefit of doubt but just getting harder and harder to understand everything they do now.
The way they have behave over trophies and esp lead shot is absolutely baffling and even more so the way they went about the lead shot fiasco, absolutely undefendable.
To claim they liased with shot companies and spout the BS they did, but even more baffling how did they not expect anyone to tell there side of story.
And even lying to the other orgs about it, beneath contempt
It really is not rocket science, I know f**k all about cartridges but even I know really struggling to get alternate loads without a plastic wad, which is just as likely to get shot banned.
If they are so incompetent over something as massive as this wot else are they f**king up????
Ud imagine for lead shot f**k up it was well talked about by everyone in the org as such a big decision/policy shift to f**k it up as badly as they have is simply beyond belief.
