Got holidays booked ?

Probably too late in the year for keepers etc to have a holiday booked ( they probably did that last month)
Anyone else got something lined up ?
Took a fancy for a break yesterday and booked a week at Albufeira in Portugal on Friday
Quite looking forward to it. Was in the Algarve last year with the granddaughter and it was fantastic.

Hoping to use the caravan a fair bit this year as well but was choking on some sun.

Canal boat at the end of May, nothing big booked as we came back from Vietnam in March. Hopefully a few trips in the van.

I was in Tenerife last month, Going for a week on the Broads in early August, then hopefully a week back in Tenerife if November unless it gets stopped due to the protests.

Usual week on Exmoor in our favourite pub. Strong memories.that area, first Job as partridge keeper in Somerset.

Went ski-ing with school in 1962. Visited German relations in 1968 and 2010. Visited friends in France in 2010. Been to Wales and Scotland for odd days. That's about it. Was in two minds whether or not to renew the passport, but handy for ID purposes.

I regret now that I didn't travel when I was younger, but I had other ambitions that dominated my life plan. I achieved all those before I was 25, but with them came the kind of responsibility that makes travel difficult.

But yes, I do fancy going abroad:
Eastern Europe.
The Faroe Islands.
Africa.

Whether or not I ever will is another matter.

After my week in Spain in May I am off to Poland for a week on my own in June then I intend to drive across to Germany in August for a few days visiting friends then down to Croatia for another few days visiting friends.
