Twenty years ago I won a prize in a local pub raffle for a weekend break in the USA. Told we would be picked up in a taxi to start the journey. Taxi turns up, we load up and we're on our way thirty minutes later we're dropped of in Rossendale town centre. Then we found out that a spelling mistake had been had been made on the tickets. USA should have been OSA. Other Side of Accrington .

Iceland in June - salmon in sea trout in East Ranga and brown trout in Lake Thingvallavatn (can't spell it) - a little too early for the main run of salmon/grilse on East Ranga and a little too late for the best brown trout on Thingvallavatn but, hey, I am being treated!!

Fly out to Toronto Wednesday (go Blue Jays) and on to Washington on the 1st May for 5 days.

In August off to Boston and a Nova Scotia cruise.
