from reading the thread on the "Hide" it looks like the licenced copys were to have "airsoft" written on them, therfore these fakes which dont have "airsoft" written on them are either produced not in accordance with the agreement, or by a third party, not being part of the agreement, possibly with the intent to decieve. all well if bought for £40 but not if sold as originals...

perhaps i could buy a copy and sell the original, anyone want to buy it?

Bought one recently. £35 posted,also bought the rail for under a fiver delivered. Doesn't swivel like the 'real' atlas but overall fairly well made and definitely worth the money.

Had my fake Atlas a year now mounted on a 16 lb rifle - shot 93 foxes between June and end of October + a lot of plinking - still waiting for this cheap and nasty bipod to fall to bits.

I own a couple of Atlas bipods, yes.

Genuine ones.

I really don't get the , "buy a copy" culture, it undermines the genuine manufacturing companies…and I'm also surprised the thread is still running - fake products do no good to anyone.

It's not a fake , it's a cheaper copy . I have one on my .22lr ar15 and it's ideal for bunny bashing and range use . It holds the front end of my rifle , it's sufficiently sturdy , and cheap enuff so that if it breaks , falls off etc , I can just buy another , £36 a time , what's to moan about.
