Hi all,
Just been looking at my rifle ammo usage this year and I was wondering how many rounds people actually fire a year? Just interested in the 'average' stalkers consumption really.
To start it off, In 2017 I estimate I shot about 500 rounds total across stalking, load development and target shooting. Mostly this is a mix of .308 and .270, although I also used .223, .303 and .357.
Total rounds for direct 'stalking' purposes (at deer or checking zero on the day) stands at a massive 8 rounds.
For comparison, my shotgun total was in the region of 5,500, all 12 bore.
How do you compare?
Al.
