for creatures - great and small;

Perhaps I am mis-reading the dosage described in the abstract, but the Ivermectin dosage administered to those with covid seems woefully shy of the dosages used in all other successful trials:

Whereas successful treatment of patients involves 0.2mg per kg body mass daily, for up to five days:

It was in the year of God's Grace 2021
That in the Bonnie Highlands a great experiment was begun
By means of which a brave Free-Forester hoped to show
A thing that a muckle bunch of professors inexplicably did not yet know.

His cause was one of the greatest importance to the people,
And he wished to have rung out from every steeple
That unworthy men were manufacturing an unnecessarily-expensive vaccine
And making amounts of money he considered obscene
When in truth a remedy affordable even to the poor
Was to be found behind every stable door.

By this he meant that the stuff you use to worm your cow or sheep or horse
Could stop the virus as if poleaxed in its course
So that no loyal subject need ever fear getting sick
As long as he took a modest dose of this veterinary physic.

And so far this n=2 study has proved beyond any doubt
That in the limited study population of success we may shout,
Though some might say that, given their geographical and social circumstances,
To catch the virus the study population had only the slimmest of chances.

Meanwhile at the universities of Aberdeen and fair Dundee
As well as other seats of learning in England and across the sea
At Heidelberg, and Yale and Stanford and also Harvard
This simple truth has not yet been discarvard.*

So let us hope that soon respectable professors their voices will raise

Aye, the uncle of my neighbour fell off a chair while changing the battery in the kitchen smoke alarm, he was concerned about things like that; they took him into hospital and put him into a bed next to a Covid positive patient - you know, like they do; he took the Covid whilst in there, and has died, despite their ‘valiant efforts’.

The widow doesn’t drive.

‘Funny’ how things turn, eh? Never mind the fact that the staff can treat themselves to protect themselves, rightly as they may see fit, as I similarly have, without any problem, but if you are unfortunate enough to need the NHS right now, you may as well be aware of the statistical incidence of people contracting the illness whilst in hospitals, never mind their refusal to treat you with something that can prevent the deterioration into serious illness, and worse.

The jab he got didn’t do a right lot to save him, but that’s a different matter.

Let’s hope the doctors are better at doctoring than prose.

  • Neither the vaccine nor lockdown will ever eradicate covid
  • Lockdowns kill people
  • Lockdowns are stunting the development of our youth
  • Covid will kill some people every year, just as flu does now

The AZ vaccination has been demonstrated to be less than fully effective against SARS-CoV-2 E484K variant. Doubtless other vax-resistant variations will arise over time.

None of which cannot be contained by lockdown. The E484K variant, or other, will very likely pass through your neck of the woods at some time in the future.

Given the reality of our position with respect to known risks and and viable mitigations available, I really struggle to understand ongoing resistance to investing in large-scale RCT Ivermectin testing.

Like Ff, I find the early data compelling. The fact that nation states like Slovakia are pursuing Ivermectin as a covid treatment adds weight.

I do hope those that belittle and seek to quash Ivermectin research suffer nothing more than embarrassment in the future.

Shock horror absolutely nothing new there that we didn’t know years ago. It’s like we’re stuck in a washing machine on a perpetual rinse repeat cycle. I so do hope this “covid inquiry” gets launched and we finally see just how few people died directly from this vs those who contracted it but had fundamental underlying issues which would have seen them off within 2/3 years.

There’s no doubt that in a world now somewhat removed from the former determining ‘survival of the fittest’ actualité, there were bound to be a fair number of casualties. I’m not so sure though, if the now recently dead might just have felt their contributions to the payroll of the NHS would have entitled them to the care they might have preferred, had they been given the bald facts and a modicum of choice. Still, ignorance is bliss, and doctor knows best, or so they tell me.
