Just had an email from the Labour Party asking for a donation

Just had a Labour Party asking for a donation. It seems that if you go online to their website, as I did, and request a email of the manifesto you can opt to receive further correspondence. Which I did. Which I hope others on SD might do so as to make the same point?

So I have replied to that email asking for a donation thus:

Dear Team Labour

I would be happy indeed to make a donation and I will most certainly be voting Labour on 4 July as will my family.

However I also shoot clay pigeons and given that the Labour Manifesto says that it will "implement full cost recovery" of a Gun Licence I will be saving my money for that expense.

So with regret I have no spare cash to donate to what I hope will be a successful campaign for Sir Keir and his team.
