Lab puppy and car

Hi
I have just bought a 8 month old lab for deer work from a breeder.
She is intelligent and recalls/ sits well.
I have introcuced her to a car box by feeding her in it, Question, how do I now get her used to travelling/getting into the truck

And if you are able put her in the truck during the day fir a snooze - she gets used to it and no issues if you need to leave her in there for a while if you are out stalking. Some places don’t like dogs, or weather is foul, but good to have a dog on hand if needs be.

they are all different , train the one in front of you ! I think the main point has been made " take it somewhere it will like " my last three have all been very different about their attitude to getting into the truck even together

like it had been stated every one is different, my latest GWP would vomit and 💩 within minutes of travelling in the back of the truck, had a few weeks travelling in the front with me on short journeys, will happily travel all day in the box with no issues now.

I started out with Short journeys even without something exciting at the end. I had my pup in the car for short trips to the shop, school run or even to the end of the road, kept him in the car. Just knowing we were always going to return to the safety of home on our return made him enjoy the journey.

Then broke the journey with a quick run back in the car to the destination and then home.

Always ensuring permission to enter or exit the car.

I forgot to say, they get big real fast. My lad won’t budge from the back of the car now. Even with distractions.
