Lead update.

Will affect rifles more wont it, currently all my foxing is done with a shotgun, using RC50 cartridges, need to purchase as much as i can to last my lifetime really 😂
that’s a heavy load for a fox, any reason you think it is required, I have shot foxes dead on the spot with 36gm of 5 shot.

That's what we all use really when flushing with dogs, 'we all' meaning the 20 or so guns that come with us, them rc's will drop a fox at 70 yards no problem

Everyone jumping on the non lead bandwagon don't help either. They will see people using it and assume it's OK to dictate what we can use.
No one should be using lead free until we absolutely have to.....if that ever happens. We all know it's bollox but still go along with it like sheep 🙄.

Apparently just 2 days to go for the DEFRA announcement.
This doesn't concern me, but the decision looks predictable. Watch this space.
No prizes for guessing who was behind that study. We're completely screwed because BASC has been infiltrated by this nonsense, with their employees among those making completely ludicrous false claims.

"Birds often mistake toxic lead pellets for seeds and eat them, charities have said, and the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) has estimated that lead poisoning kills up to 100,000 waterbirds every winter in the UK." where do they get these numbers from?
