But they're also proposing to phase out lead for airguns and smallbore, which is worse than the UK proposals

Think it's 5 years transition periodI just wonder how long it will take to make it law and will there be a transition period. We will just have to wait and see I suppose.
My mistake: 10 years for smaller (below 5.6mm.)Five years transition for smaller calibre hunting bullets, 18 months for larger ones (ie most deer rifles).
Will affect rifles more wont it, currently all my foxing is done with a shotgun, using RC50 cartridges, need to purchase as much as i can to last my lifetime reallyTime to sell up or px rifle for something else I think
that’s a heavy load for a fox, any reason you think it is required, I have shot foxes dead on the spot with 36gm of 5 shot. Will affect rifles more wont it, currently all my foxing is done with a shotgun, using RC50 cartridges, need to purchase as much as i can to last my lifetime really![]()
That's what we all use really when flushing with dogs, 'we all' meaning the 20 or so guns that come with us, them rc's will drop a fox at 70 yards no problemthat’s a heavy load for a fox, any reason you think it is required, I have shot foxes dead on the spot with 36gm of 5 shot.
Hopefully notI don’t see this going through
No prizes for guessing who was behind that study. We're completely screwed because BASC has been infiltrated by this nonsense, with their employees among those making completely ludicrous false claims.Apparently just 2 days to go for the DEFRA announcement.
This doesn't concern me, but the decision looks predictable. Watch this space.
