New DNT Zulus V2

i also have the ATN x-sight 4k on my 17 hornet for several years now, but an old yukon on my 223 which is getting dated. Having looked at the choices and cost decided to stay ATN and just purchased an ATN X-Sight 5 5-25x PRO ED new delivered for just under £300. With a 60 day return if not happy.

See how it performs when it arrives next week.
Interested to hear how it performs for you.
Do you need additional illumination?
Thanks, Ken.

The Zulus V2 is SO much better, image, features, ballistic app function , display, IR VCSEL inbuilt, sony sensor, etc

Top of the pack is the Zulus V2, Alpex 4K and Pard Night Stalker 4k EX , theres plenty out there....

If you really need to save money the Alpex A50T-S is only £399.95 with 3 year warranty and light years better night vision performance, when tested directly.. The lenses on these models have small apertures to keep cost down which hinders night vision performance dramatically...

Alpex A50T-S, there is no better night vision performance anywhere on the market at this price point of £399.95 ..

They all make similar claims regardless of make 😊 lots when ATN first arrived criticised the make but my 4K has worked good and taken hundreds of rabbits and a few foxes, so will see how the X-Sight 5 5-25x compares.

Just reviving the tread to say The Zulus v2 is insanely good to my eye. And I say to my eye because I think everyone has different preferences on digital scopes.

I’ve tried the latest Hik alpex lrf which is HUGE and I have an ATN X-sight 4k on my 22.

I bought a Zulus v2 for the 338ARC that Dave at Valkyrie is building/making for me.

So I’ve only used the new Zulus hand held. But identifying hares and ducks at 300m and ranging them in pitch black night far exceeds any night vision I’ve looked through previously. The day time performance also far exceeded my expectations very very clear.

This scope will far exceed the accurate range of my 338arc once it’s ready. Very happy.
Where you getting 300m with the ir that is built into the device?

How does the V2 model differ from the original one?
Thanks, Ken.
Bigger battery, bigger and better screen, throw lever instead of a fiddy wheel to zoom, better IR.
Set mine up on the .270 yesterday and took a buck with it at last light last night.
It has replaced a Pulsar c50 and IRlightbuilds laser illuminator. Far less bulky and over 1kg saving in weight.
Really is s cracking bit of kit in s small package.1000011656.webp

Is that the V2 onboard IR you're writing about?
Nope - the Arkens Zulus. Shot 3 foxes tonite from 90-170 yds. Great bit of kit. Later today - when I am up I will post all three videos on the Out Last Night thread - if you see what I mean…

Thanks. I've got the V1, just wondered if you if you were using the V2.

Thanks for that slider, what size is the battery now?
Cheers, Ken.

Would anyone here be able to confirm the return to zero on the Zulus mounts? I want to swap between a day scope and a nv using a torque wrench and a pic rail
