Angel Wings was the one closer to the ground the floater or bouncer has a length of 6mm fibre glass rod in a steel tube with a ground spike relying on the "into wind" affect with the birds wings clipped out and the rod up it's a rse

He’s referring to me as I made a dig about him living with his mother, having no his mother was deceased, obviously had I known I’d never have said it.

I apologised but he doesn’t seem able to move on….

I am past that, just of late there have been 3 more.

Does look different, more adjustable and with a tail spreader, probably does the same job though?

I’ve missed the pigeons this year, they just haven’t been on anything. Plus the SSE are burying overheads for a few miles and their main compound is set up in my 2 best pigeon fields!!

My best floater was a preserved bird on a 6 ft fiberglass go faster car ariel.
I made an adjustable spike and it worked v well. If it was v windy tethered it with some elasticated cord.I lost it years ago as I think I left it in a hedge row after a decoying session.
You could make one out of an old fishing rod if you could find an old solid glass one.

Hello, I made my Floating Pigeon decoys by cutting the bottom off a whole body deek and glueing in a Decoy Mounting Bracket from A1 Decoys, The Bouncing rod goes through a hole in the tail and fixed in the bracket

Just a bit of an update, I’ve got my set up sorted now, not gone mad just the basics for now so some half shell decoys, 3 bouncers and a hide! I’ll be out within the next month or so so will report back!
