Better get used to it a Government official announced yesterday that while there may be some relaxing of restrictions
lockdown won't be removed for at least a year.

Yes if you listen to the Chief Medical officer saying that the only way out of CV lockdown is the development of new medicine and or a vaccine and there is very little chance of either in this calendar year (. His words) and so the only way to control it would be ongoing social restrictions. On that basis my prediction of 6 September for ALL restrictions to be lifted is not looking good. Those in to 2021 are looking to be more on the money.

The lockdown cannot last into next year, neither we or the country can afford that.

The thing I dont understand is the numbers of dead, we are told its over 10K for this country, yet fewer people have
died this year in the same period according to published figure, and same for the USA I hear ?

18K in hospitals without counting home & nursing home deaths was on german TV about the UK this morning so chasing Italy/Spain for pole position. The post mortum about this pandemic will need a massive cover up to protect the guilty IMO or Trump might convert China into glass sheets.

My prediction is that once we get to a hospital entry rate and sadly death rate we can cope with the easing of restrictions will start or we will damage the economy to the point where we will be years recovering from it and trashing a generations employment prospects in the process. You can put a price on life and we will

As the starter of this thread on when will ALL restrictions be lifted, my date of 7 Sept is still in with a chance but it looks slim, I note many of the optimists who posted dates have already come and gone sadly Anyone want to go for another date??

i said october and i stick with it but as i said also half the idiots havn,t cottoned on yet that theres something going on ,more old folk in the shops not one with a mask on plus all the ****heads cant wait for the pubs so all going round to whoevers!
