1. Pick up the Landrover; which has had its half-shafts replaced.
2. Spin some feed for the birds.

As she drives off, Mrs.S62 shouts her customary advice:-

"Keep out of mischief and don't get into trouble!"

Christ, why does she always say that?

I am a grown man.

I can take care of myself.

I am not stupid.

All I have to do, is to remember not to put my fingers near the spinner on the back of the Jeep, when it is going at full revs.

Not even when I suspect a 'blockage' - because that would be stupid. Wouldn't it...
