Sako Mounts

What are the alternatives to Optilocks for a Sako?

I have a Finnlight being screwcut as I type. I have a z6i 5-30x50 to fit to it.

I'd prefer a 2 piece mount where the bottom half of the ring is also the mount, similar to 3rd Eye Tact, unfortunatley, they only do a picatinny mount, which I don't want to fit to the Sako. (And I have just sold my picatinny mount off my Tikka).

Wanting stainless.

Try OPTICSWAREHOUSE dovetail adaptors give them a call think you are gonner struggle but if you find any drop me a line as i have an 85 that needs something other than the norm fittings

A dove tail adaptor will just be a shortened 2 piece picatinny that mounts at each end of the ejection port. I may as well put a picatinny full length rail on.

If I find anything, I'll put a link on.

By coincidence, I spoke to Craig from Third Eye Tactical today about this very subject. He told me that they used to make mounts to fit Sako actions but didn't promote them much and stopped making them.

However, he still has the data for them and is going to make me a 34 mm set. They're made from black anodised aluminium.

If you do a google search for "third eye tactical sako rings" the page with them on should come up.
