What she has in her account is neither here nor there.
My in laws worked hard throughout their lives to accrue that sum of money and paid all of their taxes iaw the rules. That the local authorities should now grab a significant handful of that hard earned cash is despicable, especially when other people choose to spend every penny they have on the usual fags/ booze and never have to worry about paying a red cent for care when they need it.
You ask what the problem is ...! The problem is the blatantly incorrect statement that you made when clearly you haven't a clue what you are talking about.
If you wish to be taken seriously on this forum, you should probably indicate that you made your statement about 'free care for everyone' without checking the actual facts first. Everyone is entitled to a learning day now and again.

Which Tories are you referring to? I wasn't aware that we had a conservative party in this country. We certainly haven't got one in government.
Why then, on every conceivable metric, from health, to education, policing, drug deaths, life expectancy, public debt etc, is Scotland doing drastically worse than every other region in the UK if it's all the Tories fault?

The issue is of course, that it isn't free. Taxpayers and people like my MiL pay for it. Not that I'd expect someone like you (after reading some of your posts on here) to either care nor understand that basic, economic principle.
You ARE entitled to your opinion and I think that you've made it clear where you stand. My opinion is that you and your socialist views / beliefs would be better off on another forum altogether (The Jeremy Corbyn Appreciation Society Page perhaps ...?).
Whichever forum you end up on, you may also wish to fact check anything you want to post before you hit the SEND button, because if your previous offerings on here are anything to go by, the intended recipients are unlikely to be as dumb as you are.
