Well the fair is ready for business and the doors will be opening at 1000 as planned! There is a light dusting of snow but the roads are all clear.

For those who can't make it you can see what we see here on the SDcams! :D

Have fun Alex et al. Hopefully make it up next year, as I am sure it will be a permanent fixture with the level of interest it has generated.

Look like there is plenty of cake for sale. Mark has mentioned the burco boiler in the photo, and hopes it is not the one you boil your heads out in :D

I am sitting in the BB in Bucks, watching the snow go by the window at a rate of knots, and hoping by this late afternoon that the weather will ease so we can find a couple of CWD

Gutted we cant make it, the snow is basically 6ft deep in huge drifts on road in our village. Even tractor with snow blower struggled.

Seems a shame that SW Scotland is the only corner of UK affected!

Have a great show everyone.

Really sorry you couldn't make it, I know how much work you've put into it. For what it's worth plenty of people have asked after you and will no doubt be potential customers next year!!

had a great day really enjoyed it, never got chance to speak to some people but never mind will catch up again.

Just back from a great day at the Fair. Big crowds, all the stands seemed very busy, I am sure all the exhibitors must be delighted.
A big thank you to the organisers for all their hard work. Something this size does not organise itself. It just lets you see the demand for a show like this is there.

Had a great day, I'm new to SD but what a small world. Good to see Donald Muir (BASC) who I hadn't seen for 18 years and bumped into an old mate I used to shoot with in Germany 20 years ago. Well done to the organisers for this great event, already looking forward to the repeat next year.:tiphat:

What a cracking day. Well done to everyone that put it together. Well done to big ears for winning the binos.
Bought a load of stuff.
Hope it goes well for everyone the morn
