Ignoreing the actually dog/tracking side off it, for this to work as it does overseas would u need a change in firearms law in england? Does that have to go to government or can the DI issue a best practice advice (althou i suspect that wouldn't be legal) I know a few off u insist on a police presence to cull an rta deer at roadside to cover ur back's but how would that work if u tracked it a decent distance possibly different landowners, do u ask police to accompany u?
Even in scotland where it is legal to follow a wounded deer on to ur neighbours ground, would that also allow u to follow an RTA deer with a firearm if u have no adjoining ground?
Might need the support of all the major groups to start pressuring/lobbying whoever to start to think about changing laws as i'd imagine it's a pretty slow process
