Sudbury Butchers window display

Education is the key in my opinion the large organisations preach to the converted while the public seems to fall way back in the pecking order.

keep a DNA sample of the deer you tagged and sold. If any dispute, you can compare DNA which will show it to be the same animal or not

So you legally stalk and shoot your deer, into sterile container, documented and to the dealers chiller within the hour, keeping DNA sample. Then sold on to butcher etc who leaves it in the back of van or whatever (bad handling) they sell it on and all who eat it become ill. Where does the blame/burden of proof in handling go back to? (DNA shows its your deer) I'm just glad I only shoot for my own consumption yes DSC 1&2, but feel the whole industry needs a shake up and some harsh penalties dished out to offenders

Sadly its not unusual to go into an Irish game dealer and see lads swinging out of carcases on the rail to straighten them out. Just as likely to be ignorance of good carcase management as anything illegal. I watched a 'stalker' unfold 2 hybrids out of mortar tubs, shot the day before, and the chests weren't even split ! Even now there's a fair number of 'traffic acccidents' to be viewed in some reception areas. I'm not entirely surprised the UK authorities have insisted on trained hunter declarations accompanying all carcases in the skin coming into UK from Ireland.

I was just going to say that! Certainly 'aint white up here and won't be for a good while the way the weather has been recently. Wasn't taken this weekend!

Serious rigor on the neck of bambi, large white rabbits?? must be bred, not wild and not hares ears are too wide, legs are too short, all in their jackets...sure this aint a pic from other shores?

Defo not blue hares loook the same size as the hares other side of rail and Blues are really just rabbit sized nothing likre the size of a brown. And far too early, plus don't think u get blue hares in eng, well none on some off the Co durhum moors i go to so doubt any further south

Would imagine there some type of tame rabbit off a fabbit farm, dutch lop? or something

Are you crazy? This is East Anglia! It snows here for about 10 minutes each year and then melts instantly in the heat! The only white bunny around here is the Easter one! We don't have arctic foxes, white stoats or polar bears either! They are farmed rabbits for christ sake!
I've just seen the original photos which have 2 muntjac to the left and another on the rail to the right of the Roe. I daren't post them though for fear of being accused of sticking wallaby heads onto hares or similar! They also show a bit too much of the shop which is not really a good idea at this stage of the investigation!;)

Blimey M.S. What a mistake to make! Fancy posting a scam like this!
Hopefully if the Old Bill do their job you can post the Court case results on here eventually.
Cheers,

The white rabbits are probably just farmed rabbits. The deer looks a bit odd in the photo but it certainly wouldn't surprise me to find that it was entirely genuine.
