True, but takes money. The Norwegians have money, the UK does notThe truth is if you want to reduce reoffending you actually need Norwegian prisons “ Correctional facilities in Norway focus on maintaining custody of the offender and attempting to make them functioning members of society. Norway's prison system is renowned as one of the most effective and humane in the world”
Never work here, the Norwegian society has a completely different outlook and ethic - U.K. people do not and would not respond in the same way.The truth is if you want to reduce reoffending you actually need Norwegian prisons “ Correctional facilities in Norway focus on maintaining custody of the offender and attempting to make them functioning members of society. The prison service was nothing to do with the money - speak to any Norwegian and they’ll explain that it was always that way. (Success in rehabilitation)True, but takes money. The Norwegians have money, the UK does not
I assume that was a typo, rather than a reflection on their firearms laws....?.
I spend a lot of time in Norway and notice many things about the people that does not happen here as a general rule. (People picking up little rifles they see it, even if it’s not theirs, polite public services people, people asking if others are ok etc)
My research has shown our prison service is way more expensive than Norway principally because we lock up more people and have higher reoffending rates sort of revolving door idea. So counterintuitively better prisons with more focus on rehabilitation will lower the net bill for the prison services.True, but takes money. The Norwegians have money, the UK does not
