The problem we have with any firearms is that when the authorities decide that it is a good idea to remove a "source" of firearms that could fall into the wrong hands, there is no stopping them, they will do it and then pat themselves on the back saying "in the interests of public safety we have removed a potential source of firearms that could fall into the wrong hands" and sheeple will cheer them, nodding in agreement forgetting that the very same "wolves" who want to eat them are the same that are entrusted to protect them

Just out of interest - who took the Dorset case (funded)?
My knowledge of Chief Cons attitudes to firearms stems from the opinion of Fahy, One time Cheshire CC and then GM CC then and now retired he said, in public, "the public should not be allowed to own firearms". He was on ACPO as it changed to NPCC. A more arrogant and conscienceless man you could not wish to meet who's interest was in his career and not in policing except insofar as it served his career.

A "spin constable" rather than a Chief Constable.

Didnt people once worry about masonic influence ? I would suggest the NPCC having been banned as ACPO is the more dangerous organisation simply from its make-up.

I'm still watching & waiting for a link to BAILLI. This is a Crown Court case on appeal so there will be a Law Report transcript.
