BASC will provide the same guidance for free if you are a member, which will save a bundle in solicitor fees.

Interesting they do not mention the likely £15-£20k cost.

Hi Steve,

We don’t talk about costs because they very from case to case. Typically our total fees are between £5k and £10k.
 
Can I ask what your Win to Loss ratio is for firearms appeals please?

Somewhere between 50 - 75% for the ones that get to a hearing. It’s tough because these things are so judge dependent.

The important thing is that if, once we see the evidence, we don’t think you stand a realistic prospect of winning we will tell you! Although some stubborn buggers insist on doing it anyway!!
