Thermal return

Looking to sending my thermal back to Thomas jack's for service/repair, anyone had any problems with turn around time?

I had to return my unit after 2 days! As it was brand new, they said they would make it a priority. After 2 weeks, they still hadn't diagnosed it. I created a stink as it was a busy time of year for me. After 3 weeks, they then sent me a new unit.
That was the answer I was looking for but they took their time on the matter.

Yes, I too was surprised at how slow they were to issue a new unit. It was coming up to the Christmas holidays too, when everyone goes on holiday, so if I hadn't complained, it could of dragged on another 2/3 weeks!

Mine took a while they sent it back to eastern Europe i believe as it was a new model. Got new unit one month but did get a back up unit till mine was replaced.

When I rang they told me it would be approx 2 weeks to repair my thermal spotter. It eventually took just under 4 weeks. Maybe the time it takes depends a lot on whether the repair it needs is obvious or if it need more investigation. They told me mine was taking longer because they were using it in real world tests at night.

If its under warranty make sure you ask for your postage back

If they have to send you a new unit they will probably open it and remove any bits you did not send in - even including the lens cloth !!

Phone Tj’s ask for fault engineer and a return slip guesstimate on turnarounds and any cost, they run pretty close to, also take a pic with date of what your sending of everything going back just in Casey they’re pretty good

I have just booked my Mergers in due to a faulty shutter and battery drain while switched off, estimated time is 7days according to the letter. We shall see ….

Well that didn’t end well, booked in with UPS and paid £57 as a high value item for the privalge only for them to ‘lose’ the parcel , it was last seen at stanstead depot, now who knows they certainly don’t, absolute rubbish company. Raging 😡

Make sure you ask for the money back for the delivery
I hope they find them
