Thermal return

Been doing a bit of research,
Beyond the first 30 days of ownership you're entitled to a full or partial refund instead of a repair or replacement if any of the following are true:

At least three of these apply.
  • an attempt at repair or replacement has failed*
  • the cost of the repair or replacement is disproportionate to the value of the goods or digital content
  • a repair or replacement is impossible
  • a repair or replacement will cause you significant inconvenience*
  • the repair or replacement will take an unreasonably long amount of time.*
If a repair or replacement is not possible, or the attempt at repair fails, or the first replacement also turns out to be defective, you can reject the goods for a full refund.

If you don't want a refund and still want your product repaired or replaced, you have the right to request that the retailer makes further attempts at a repair or replacement.

If you discover the fault within the first six months of having the product, it is presumed to have been there since the time you took ownership of it - unless the retailer can prove otherwise.

The retailer can't make any deductions from your refund in the first six months following an unsuccessful attempt at repair or replacement.
What was your binos fault ? Strange they haven’t repaired it as stock has been forth coming, I’ve tested mine twice upon return from repair to change the shutter and proximity board and microphone sensor, and the latest update, these are far superior now than when initially purchased I’m beginning to think they were faulty from the outset. Really happy with them now but let’s see on the reliability of them. Paul was my contact at TJ and he’s been spot on

I foolishly applied their update, & it shutdown never to re appear.
TJ's played with it for a couple of weeks, but in their terminology "Fell over again"

I’ve just raised this issue for you … it seems excessive and not the normal time period or aftercare that TJ provide .. Hopefully you get a resolution.

Be worth advising too that several customers - myself included - will never buy Pulsar again because when new items are replaced under warranty any "bits" that were not sent with the old item - such as the cloth - the instruction booklet - are removed ! Also i believe the warranty is not the full warranty ? Maybe you could clarify that too ?
I have written to TJs and Pulsar and did not like the response as a customer having spent many , many , many thousands with them

Warranty will never start again and this applies all manufacturers... The warranty period is started on the date of purchase and runs for 3 year, you pay for 3 year warranty and this is what people receive. You do not get a continual new warranty for every replacement you receive.

Also with anything sent in for warranty if accessories and components are removed when sent in, you get back what you sent in originally..

As a customer isnt that a joke ?
My car blows up - i get a new warranty on it - not the remaining warranty from when it broke !
Shows a deep lack of faith in their own products

As for taking bits from a "new" product - again what a joke - it must cost more to do so and leaves a very bitter taste in ones mouth

As an example if Finn above has not had his binos for 11 weeks - thats 11 weeks warranty lost ! Totally disgraceful

HikMicro, Infiray, Thermtec there all the same. Its a standard warranty process has always been like this.

In the case of warranty with his unit, at a distributors discretion that period can be added back on to his original warranty period, of which I'm sure they will do for him.

I'm a Pulsar fan, but from what I know about not having stock ect, is because pulsar are not selling, HikMicro ect are the new leaders.
One large dealer in NI has not sold any Pulsar products in the last 6 months, yet they (Pulsar) are doing roadshows up and down the ROI.
