I just want to let you all know what a great job WMP have done for me on my FAC variation - its really not all doom and gloom everywhere.
Firstly, the new FEO Ive got is great, easy to speak to and clear in his information. I put in to vary 2x mods with a section 7 temp permit, double my rimfire ammo hold and authorise a new permission for me about a week ago. I received an email within 24 hours stating they weren't processing currently and that I could either hold my variation and wait until they begin or return the certificate. I replied by email that I wasn't aware they had stopped processing variations but I understood their decision and please could they return my certificate as Im still able to shoot within the lockdown guidelines. I heard nothing bar the automatic reply from sending them an email.
By yesterday I was getting a bit nervous as to where my paperwork was so I put a call into a nice lady in Malvern Police Station who informed me that they had posted it yesterday (Tuesday) and likely would be back with me tomorrow (Thursday).
As promised its here and even better, they have completed my variation giving me exactly what I asked for in the space of about 10 days, even after saying there was no chance. This is good work considering the current circumstances so nice one WMP
