What clothing is Necessary for deer stalking ?

For head gear if got an old camo balaclava for ages ago when I watched pheasant hunting with my mate ( we did it from a blind in a field years ago ) it did a pretty good job with keeping me warm and covered my face , would that be good to wear on a stalk and I’ve also got a pair of binos which are from the 70s they work really well and are in good condition, should I bring those too ?
Yep, a Bally would be fine. I don’t know what sort of stalking you’ll be doing but if you need binoculars a good quality pair of 70s would do the trick. They’ll probably be a bit more cumbersome than more modern ones though.

As above. Dull and breathable. Don't worry too much about keeping dry or too warm. You're young and in a dry part of the country. It will be dry 90% of the time you're out and a few hours of wet will do you no harm. You're more likely to find you're too warm than too cold.
I use a very old pair of army surplus wool trousers, thinnish jumper or fleece and an old field jacket. Footwear, if dry, an old pair of trainers, or wellies.

It's only age, decrepitude and wealth that make people require expensive kit.

None, if you're a naturist.
Otherwise, any dull green or brown clothing will do, provided that it's not noisy. Soft fabrics are a must.
Wear several thin layers rather than one thick one, and have opening fronts so you can unzip various layers to cool down, without having to take anything off.
Gloves to cover the paleness of your hands, rather than keeping you warm.
Hat with a brim.
Grow a beard.
whatever you do, do not go further than a beard. should you be tempted by a man bun, your guns will be seized and sold off to allow you to get a creedmore!

Do you recommend any good trousers ?
Jack Pyke Ashcome trousers.
Took a punt on these for £50 in July and they have been fantastic, stalking a couple of days a week and beating 2/3 days a week for the last 2 months. Warm too.
Even walking though knee high green crop the wet doesn't penetrate.

After wasting enormous amounts of money over the years (because I’m a kit whore), I have come to the conclusion that there is one bit of absolutely essential kit that it’s worth spending a lot on - really, really good waterproof trousers. They make the biggest difference between misery and joy.

I had the beard before I started stalking…
