What To Do With This Head?

This head surprised me as I seldom shoot bucks that warrant more than consigning their appendages to the stick making basket so what do you think? It’s clearly not of medal quality but other than being overly tall (?) it’s rather pleasing and growing on me:

It’s certainly a really nice looking head, so it must be worth getting it boiled out and prepped to go on the wall somewhere.

A very nicely representative 6-pointer. Like you, I rarely put anything on the wall these days, but if the stalk was memorable that would be a nice reminder.

Keep it and enjoy the memories, I have some on walls, or just leave them on shelves in the house with other bits and pieces.

You could take photo and put in draw for ever and never admire it or send to taxidermist put it on the wall and look at it every time you walk in the room

Beautiful buck - looks like medal class to me and would make a beautiful mount. Great shape, colour and character.....

I binned my boiling pot many years ago but have just purchased a new adjustable skull holding bracket and cutting jig. Just need to dig out the wife’s favourite soup/stock making saucepan and get to it when next I’m working from home!
