I think if i was buying a "new" rifle today and i didn't have over 2k Available i would buy a Tikka and it would be in .270 win because Tikka only make that size now and stuff packers in anything smaller .
If i had more to spend ?i would need to take a damb good look at Fierce Rifles
If i had Less than 2k ? I would get a clean used Sako 75 used , with the mind that i would be able to spend some on it . Out of preference i would go laminate with the second choice of walnut . Or use some more cash and put it in a Composite stock modelled of the 75 shape as its never been bettered ( for right handed shooters )
I actually bought another Sako 75 this year , planning to bed it and re-barrel . However the darn thing shot super good when i shortened the barrel up and i haven't done anything further with it and likely wont because it shoots 50 grain Ecx copper real good 1/2" at 100 on the zero check just the other day Cost £500 to buy and about £200 tops in work
