Why are we shooting less and less

already handed the vast majority away to friends, who within the time frame of November to now have just gained another 500 acres next door because the bloke who had it got turfed off

I’m down to my last 500 that will see me out and even better I can just walk out the gate

And frankly with some on here, that's what I feel like at times. Selling this site and walking away, I have better things to do in life than listen to people who insult.

What people don't get is that we are all in the same boat, whether we are full time, or stalk as a hobby. No one's disagreeing that more deer in parts of the UK need culling. And its got more of an issue over the past few years. Its never going to be an easy solution. If it were, it would have been done by now.
But there are still HUGE parts of the UK with hardly a deer in sight. East Kent being one area. Plus even on problem areas its still not a straight forward issue, probably never will be.

Its all very well running polls on here, but that at times just causes more division and arguments, and is not good for the site and the membership, especially when its going over old ground again.
I have friends who share ground I have, but those I trust and have confidence in. So your not the only one Lee. Many on here share or give away ground.

I’m looking for to proper deer related retirement, I have good friends that just laugh at me because I can’t leave it alone, but believe me about a year before my ticket is up I’ll have a clear out and sell up.

I’ve still got a bit to do here with the reds, still do the cull days for the farmer and that’s subject to 200 acres going to solar panels.

Good luck to the next generation, you’re going to need every inch of it and more.
